Would you trust a talking poodle if it was in a book?

My friend Grover is a Satyr and me and Annabeth my other friend were stuck with no money and Grover found a poodle and it told Grover that we can claim his reward money as he had ran away and his family were looking for him...well after we handed the poodle in and got the money to travel west we seemed to have bumped into loads of monsters and I think the poodle may of tipped them off to where we are going! So would you trust this poodle. He was pink...and he stood about a foot of the ground
