Should I buy a new BlackBerry Curve-8520 after minor water damage?

I had my BlackBerry in my pocket while walking home, then it just pouring rain, so I ran home and took the phone out of my pocket (my pants were soaked)but there was water on it but it wasn't drenched. So I took the battery out but the inside wasn't really wet either so I let it dry for an our. Then I put the battery in, the light comes on but the screen never does. So should I buy new BlackBerry or let it sit for a few days?
