2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder floor is soaked?

The driver's side floorboard of my eclipse spyder is drenched. I noticed it a few months ago and figured the seals on the door were bad so I had someone spray the car down with a hose and didn't see any water coming in. It rained a few days ago so I got out my shop-vac and tried to suck up as much water as possible so the car wouldn't smell, but I got in the next morning and it was soaked all over again, no rain overnight either. What could be the source so much water, aside from the weather stripping?
